What should be paid attention to when using the gas detector

The gas detector is a kind of instrument and instrument tool for monitoring the concentration value of gas leakage, mainly including portable gas detector, fixed gas detector, gas leak detector, etc. It is mainly to make full use of gas sensors to monitor the types of gas existing in the environment. The gas sensor is a sensor used to monitor the composition and content of gas.
Generally speaking, the definition of gas sensor is based on the classification of the monitoring target. In other words, all sensors used to monitor the gas composition and concentration value are called gas sensors, regardless of whether they use physical methods or chemical methods. For example, sensors monitoring gas flow are not considered as gas sensors, but thermal conductivity gas analyzers are important gas sensors, although they sometimes use roughly the same monitoring principle. So, what are the problems needing attention when using the gas detector?
Precautions before using gas detector
(1) Before use, carefully read the instructions corresponding to the gas detector and master the use performance and operation method of the machine.
(2) Check whether the battery is sufficient. If the battery is found to be insufficient, replace it in time.
(3) Check the intake filter for sundries that need to be cleaned or replaced.
(4) Press the start key for 3 seconds to enter the self-inspection state, observe whether the detector has set the low alarm value, and whether the high alarm value is set accurately (CO detector level 1 alarm is 50ppm, level 2 alarm is 100ppm; oxygen detector level 1 alarm is 19.5%, level 2 alarm is 22%; hydrogen sulfide detector level 1 alarm is 10ppm, level 2 alarm is 15ppm). If it is not necessary to set it, it should be modified in time.
(5) During the startup process, the self-inspection should listen to the audible and visual alarm of the hierarchical alarm. The vibration alarm is accurate. If it does not meet the setting requirements and is not allowed to be used, it should be modified in time.
(6) Observe whether the initial value is accurate after starting under the condition of fresh air (the initial display of 0ppm ≤ O2 detector is 20.9%; the initial display of hydrogen sulfide detector is 0ppm). If the displayed value is inaccurate and strictly prohibited, it should be modified in time.
